Manhattan Beach News Briefs: TEDx, Vitality City, Dolan correction

Correction
An article in last week’s Easy Reader (“Watchdog hopes that letter will show why Dolan left”) incorrectly stated that city Finance Director Bruce Moe said that former City Manager Geoff Dolan’s accrued vacation should have been included in his severance package. He said that in hindsight, the accrued vacation should have been explained.

Dolan’s severance package of $194,000 was questioned by watchdog group Californians Aware, after documents recently made public showed Dolan was given a severance payment of $268,384. According to Moe, the roughly $75,000 difference was for Dolan’s accrued vacation.
