Over three decades ago, The Garretts, the Beals and Noel Castiel rallied their 24th Place neighbors in Hermosa Beach for a Fourth of July parade through the neighborhood. Every year since, neighbors have decorated their pets, cars and bikes and paraded up what may be the steepest hill in Hermosa. The parade seems to take a different route each year, but eventually ends up back at the Garret home at the bottom of the hill. Photos
