The Comic Bug will be giving away over 20,000 comic books to the public in Manhattan Beach on May 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The store will have artists and creators giving free sketches and autographs. Girls Night Out
Southbay magazine’s annual fashion fundraiser will take place on May 8 at 6 p.m. in the Civic Center Plaza. The runway show will feature local stores such as Bella Beach and Allison [by the beach]. Fifteen percent of ticket and boutique sales will go to the Special Olympics World Games Host Town Programs of Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach and El Segundo. Feelgood Festival
The city’s parks and recreation department is hosting a day of yoga, music, food and arts and crafts in Polliwog Park on May 9 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Visit citymb.info for more information. Don’t forget to bring your mat!
