Yoga for a cause

Blue Zones Project, the City of Redondo Beach, and the Cancer Support Community of Redondo Beach (CSC-RB) are offering free yoga classes, led by instructors from Spectrum Athletic Clubs, on the Redondo Beach Pier every Monday between July 22 and August 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. In lieu of a fee, participants can make a donation to CSC-RB.

rb yogaCSC-RB is also partnering with yoga studios to host a yogathon fundraiser on Saturday, July 20. Proceeds will benefit CSC-RB’s free yoga programs for cancer patients and their families. Yoga enthusiasts can dedicate one class (at certain studios in the South Bay or Long Beach) to a loved one who has been affected by cancer, and prizes are available for participants that collect or donate more than $100 in pledges.
