Seaside Lagoon is now open daily (with the exception of July 3 and 4) from 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. through September 2.
CenterCal meeting
Developer CenterCal is holding a final public workshop to hear residents’ input on the waterfront revitalization project. Redondo Beach is invited to attend Thursday, June 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center.
Baby Loves Disco
South Bay Galleria will host the internationally acclaimed family dance party event Baby Loves Disco on Saturday, June 15 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. in the Food Court. The event will feature DJ Captain Jack and MC Alex spinning family friendly dance music, a Father’s Day dance contest, free mini-manicures, healthy snacks, a photo booth, face painting, and temporary tattoos. The event is free, but interested families must reserve tickets by visiting guest services on level one of the shopping center or calling (310) 371-7546.
Blue Zones workshop

Rainy’s carnival
Rainy Reimer is a four-year old Redondo Beach resident in need of a life-saving liver transplant. Due to Alagille syndrome, a genetic disorder, her doctors have placed her on the liver transplant list. The costs associated with this are expected to be $50,000. The family has already received $27,000, but to assist, Soles for Life and Beacon House Association of San Pedro have joined forces to close the gap. A carnival and silent auction will be held on Saturday, June 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle located at 18701 S. Denker Avenue in Gardena.
