The Manhattan Beach City Council announced the appointment of Talyn Mirzakhanian as the Acting City Manager, effective August 19. She will take over from Bruce Moe, who will be retiring after 35 years with the City on August 18.
Mirzakhanian has served in the Community Development Department for the past three years, leading the department as director since April 2023. She has worked in the public sector for nearly two decades, including nearly 13 years within the planning departm
