Akbar was one of the first Indian restaurants in the South Bay to upscale and diversify Indian cuisine. They are still the most adventurous when it comes to contemporary dishes. Fusions of Indian techniques with Chinese and Mediterranean ideas and ingredients enliven the specials menu. They regularly have special dinners that prove how well these spicy dishes can pair with fine wines.
