The oldest trophy in all sports paid King Harbor Yacht Club (KHYC) a visit on Friday, May 3. The 162-year-old America’s Cup traveled with to Redondo Beach, at the behest of KHYC Staff Commodore Jerry Martin, who worked with the America’s Cup Committee, Team Oracle, and the Golden Gate Yacht Club to make the arrangements.

Carrying the cup requires the wearing of white archival quality gloves, which do no damage to the 162-year-old silver.
