The Ratopia Charity Fund was established in 2005 in support of local surfer Denny Bales, 22, who was diagnosed with Hodgkinβs Lymphoma. Since then, the Ratopia Charity Fund has raised approximately $137,000 in donations for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
