Spotlight: Friday, February 2 Boards Across Hermosa artwalk A Boards Across America Art Walk takes place from 2 to 7 p.m. today. The walk starts at The Source Cafe on Pier Avenue, continues down Pier Avenue, to Hermosa Avenue and Pier Plaza. Stops include Hermosa Brewing Company, Guisado’s, Coastal, and The Bike Shop This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Hermosa Beach Skate Park. Boards Across Hermosa pays tribute to Hermosa’s unique role in the history of skateboarding. Using skateboards as the canvas, 50 artists have created one of a kind art curated by local skating legend Cindy Whitehead. Now through St. Patrick’s Day, 50 boards will be on display in 50 storefronts. The skate art is up for auction with sales benefitting artists and the Hermosa Beach Chamber Foundation.
