The Hermosa Beach Fine Arts Festival is Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11 at the Hermosa Beach Community Center, 710 Pier Ave. The art will be on display and for sale on the lawn on the west side of the Community Center. The festival boasts over a hundred juried artist booths with all mediums of art represented. There is also a student art exhibition, face painting and art activities for kids. The festival is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. For more information, go to hermosafinearts.com.

Cancer Support: Staying Positive with Chemocessories 

Cancer Support Community South Bay (CSC South Bay) is offering this free workshop led by Iris Lee Knell, a cancer survivor and founder of Chemocessories. A positive attitude is of vital importance in the recovery process during cancer treatment. Looking better can help cancer patients feel better and accessorizing can be therapeutic. Participants will learn how to accessorize with jewelry, scarves and more, and receive complimentary accessory sets. The workshop is from noon-1:30 p.m. at 2601 Airport Drive, Suite 100, Torrance. The Second Annual Hermosa Beach Pride Festival returns to Hermosa Beach Friday evening and Saturday, June 16, and 17, with events for everyone ranging from group workouts to music and a drag show. The festival is presented by the Hermosa Beach Pride Organization, and will benefit the South Bay LGBTQ Center,  and the LOVE Foundation.
