Musician Kenny Metcalf will bring the music of Elton John to Polliwog Park in Manhattan Beach on Sunday, July 30. The show is part of the annual Concerts in the Park series at Polliwog Park. The series features concerts every Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. through Sept. 5. Admission is free. Concert-goers are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics. New family support group
A new in-person family support group meets at 5:30 p.m. the second Wednesday of the month at the allcove Youth Wellness Center at the Beach Cities Health District, 514 N. Prospect Ave, Redondo Beach. Sunsational Sandcastles

New art exhibit
Fifteen artists have produced an exhibition of paintings reflecting their unique views and experiences of life around the Palos Verdes Peninsula and surrounding areas.
