Glow Ride for Cystic Fibrosis
Claire’s Place Foundation hosts its annual Glow Ride for Cystic Fibrosis on Saturday, August 12, from 5 to 9 p.m. Cyclists and walkers will go from the Hermosa Pier to the Manhattan Pier and back to the Hermosa Pier. Registration at the Hermosa pier starts at 5 p.m. Hermosa Cyclery is lending bicycles and safety gear to riders at no charge. Concerts in Polliwog Park
The Tom Nolan Band will pay tribute to the roots of soul, blues, jazz, and R&B Sunday, Aug. 13 at Polliwog Park. The show is part of the annual Concerts in the Park series at Polliwog Park. The series features concerts every Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. through Sept. 5. Concert-goers are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics. New art exhibit
