Row For A Reason, Redondo Beach
Body One Fitness presents the ninth annual “Row for a Reason” to raise funds for Cancer Support Community South Bay (CSC South Bay) on Friday, Sept. 6, from 4 – 10 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 7, from 7 a.m. – 12 p.m. Gym Owner and founder of Row for a Reason, Lou Sidella, will dedicate all row machines to the fundraiser for the duration of the event. Participants can sign up to row in half-hour time slots for a $50 donation Sidella hopes to raise $20,000 for CSC South Bay this year. Body One Fitness, 201 Herondo Street, St. 100, Redondo Beach. QPR Suicide Prevention Training helps individuals recognize warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade and refer someone to help. Increase your skills to engage the suicidal person to discuss their distress, provide hope and refer to those who can formally assess and intervene with the suicidal individual.
