BCHD Seeks Community Input About Health
Beach Cities Health District (BCHD) is asking residents of Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach to take its Community Health Survey to better understand local health needs, which guide its health priorities, program and service offerings. The online community- and individual-level questionnaire captures zip code-specific information and unique perspectives of community members regarding their health. This information, along with specific data indicators, will be used to compile BCHD’s 2022-25 Community Health Report, which provides district-specific (Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach) health information. The survey also guides the selection of BCHD’s Health Priorities, which then helps determine the health programs and services that will be offered in response to community need. “Obtaining direct community feedback and engaging with our residents is key to ensuring our programs best serve our community,” said Beach Cities Health District CEO Tom Bakaly. “We appreciate residents taking the time to complete our Community Health Survey and what they’ll receive in return is health services that meet their needs.” BCHD administers the survey and produces its…
