Beach holidays – Manhattan Beach Pier Lighting

The 29th Annual Manhattan Beach Pier Lighting on November 14 attracted a record 15,000 people and over 150 participating businesses. The event is organized by the Manhattan Beach Downtown Business and Professional Association, and usually stores offer discounts as part of the night. But this year businesses decided to give a percentage of sales to fire-related charities. Tabula Rasa Essentials, for example, gave $1,000 to the UC Davis Veterinary Emergency Response Team, Gum Tree gave $580 to American Red Cross, and Licia B Jewels gave $500 to Westside German Shepherd Rescue.
