The long deferred dream of resurrecting El Segundo’s storied swim history was realized on Saturday, Jan. 5 with the opening of the $13 million El Segundo/Wiseburn School District Aquatic Center. The facility includes an Olympic size pool, a 25 meter warm-up pool, stadium seating and a jumbotron. El Segundo and Wiseburn high schools will share the pool. It is also be open to the public.
