Former San Diego State basketball player turned Olympic beach volleyball silver medalist Mike Dodd and former San Diego beach volleyball player turned NBA Champion and Lakers coach Luke Walton proved they can still jump in the sand at the annual Summer Solstice Volleyball Tournament, held June 24 at 21st Street in Hermosa. With help from equally tall teammates Laura Sikora and former AVP player Dave Swatik, Dodd and Walton won the mid-summer stop on the the beach cities underground Four Man Tour.
