Silvio’s isn’t quite like any other place in LA. It’s part sports bar, part Brazilian restaurant, and part beachy grill where you can get a plain grilled Mahi sandwich or a Mississippi pulled pork sandwich. Purists may be outraged, but this place isn’t for them – it’s for everybody who likes simply seasoned and expertly grilled proteins with all the trimmings. In this case the steak, chicken, sausage, and seafood are paired with salads, ceviche, the crispest fries on the Plaza, and other delights. If a Brazilian family and some Hermosa locals lived next door to each other and fired up the barbecue regularly, this is the food that might result.
