Since opening in 1973, Dive N’ Surf has introduced over 70,000 people to the world of diving.
“The one thing Dive N’ Surf wants to instill in all of its students is a general love of the ocean,” said Dive N’ Surf’s Saul Zaragoza. “With an 89 degree indoor swimming pool, we make sure to resolve any fear or intimidation a brand new diver may have.”
The shop carries top line equipment and offers surf and scuba rentals, repairs, comprehensive dive certification classes and world wide destination scuba travel packages. It has been awarded the highly prestigious 5 Star PADI Dive Center status.
“Dive N’ Surf has a lot of heritage starting with Bill and Bob Meistrell, Dale Velzy, Bev Morgan, and Hap Jacobs, who were the shops early owners. The Meistrell family still owns the shop,” said Zaragoza. “We are stoked to continue the legacy.”
