Hoffman Murphy Team–If Marie Hoffman and Susan Murphy of the Hoffman Murphy Team hadn’t been voted Best Realtors, they might have won for most upbeat and energetic. Hoffman credited her energy to having been a Jazzercise instructor for 23 years with her husband Dwain Roque. Murphy, in her spare time, works with the Redondo Beach Historical Society and entertains in her 1909 craftsman home.
But more important than anything else, Hoffman said, are those old clichés “experience” and “teamwork.” The two became Realtors in the late 1980s and partners in 2005.
“Susan and I have known each other since 1992. But you can be Kobe Bryant and still not win without a good team behind you. We have one. With our transaction, listing and marketing coordinators, all a seller has to do is give us the key.”
“We ‘stage’ ever house and we’re honest with the seller about setting a the right price.”
The Hoffman Murphy Team closed over 65 deals and $45 million in sales in 2010.
