Here’s just a few clips and snips of a recent down south excursion to the annual, “The International Surfboard Show: BOARDROOM Review” (formerly known as The Sacred Craft) in Del Mar, CA from October 5th and 6th.

The event celebrated the shaping career of four-time Surfing World Champion, Mark “MR” Richards, with a shape off between six contemporary shapers. The premise of the “Icons of Foam” contest was for each foamsmith to replicate a classic MR twin fin from the Free Ride era. Spectators on hand had the opportunity to view each shaper in action in an enclosed glass case.
