On Wednesday, January 29th, Pages Bookstore in Manhattan Page and Body Glove hosted the reception of  “Fits like a Glove: The Bill and Bob Meistrell Story.” The attendees were treated to a Q &A session with Billy and Robbie Meistrell as well as a book signing and refreshments. The book is available on Amazon.com, BodyGlove.com, at Dive N’ Surf, and at all major bookstores.

“Fits Like A Glove: The Bill and Bob Meistrell Story” is the personal and revealing look into the lives, motivations, dreams and accomplishments of twin brothers who lived their mantra: Love what you do, do what you love.” Body Glove International, an iconic American family owned and operated business based on honesty, fairness, creativity, and passion, celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2013.

Through personal interviews with legendary surfers and divers, classic photographs, and the Meistrells’ personal stories rarely made public, the reader gains a vivid picture of the challenges Bill and Bob faced during their lifetimes of adventure, excitement, and innovation. “Fits Like A Glove: The Bill and Bob Meistrell Story” is the true history of how two young men followed their love of the ocean into a life of unimaginable accomplishment.

“It’s more than a story about Body Glove. it’s the history of surfing and diving, told through the eyes of two brothers so close they were only apart during the Korean Conflict. It’s a fun read – wait until you get to their encounters with Lloyd Bridges, Gary Cooper, and Raquel Welch! “Fits Like A Glove” is a must-have!” – Tom Ingram, Executive Director Diving Equipments and Marketing AssociationDZ
