Jodi Siegel is a triple threat; singer/songwriter/guitarist! Her songs are lyrically
smart, colorful and melodic with bluesy, funky grooves. Jodi’s fine-tuned solo
performance style is reminiscent of a “one man band” porch performer; complete
with a wicked slide guitar and soulful vocals. Some of her influences are Billie
Holiday, Etta James, Paul Simon, James Taylor and great songwriters of all genres.
Over the years Jodi has opened for and/or shared the stage with many respected
musicians, including Robert Cray, Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett (Little Feat), David
Lindley, Albert King, Robben Ford and many others. She is currently recording a
new CD with Steve Postell producing, to be released in the fall of 2019.

Two Stellar Concerto Soloists & Good Friends
Return for Their Third Appearance as a Duo
on the “Second Sundays At Two” Series

                                     Violinist LINDA WANG

Since her solo debut with the New York Philharmonic under Zubin Mehta at the age of nine, Juilliard- and USC-trained violinist Linda Wang has performed concertos with leading orchestras worldwide. Linda’s numerous solo recitals have taken her across Europe, Asia, and the U.S. in such renowned venues as New York City’s Carnegie Hall, Amsterdam’s Beurs van Berlage and the BerlinSchauspielhaus.  Ms. Wang is Associate Professor of Violin at University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music. A favorite on the Sundays At Two series, this will be Linda’s fourth appearance, and third as a duo partner with Robert Thies.

                               & Pianist ROBERT THIES

Pianist Robert Thies won the Gold Medal at the International Prokofiev Competition in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1995. Since then he has been highly sought after as a concerto soloist by leading orchestras worldwide. Robert is once again returning to the Palos Verdes Peninsula where he grew up for his seventh appearance on the Second Sundays At Two series.
