Chamber’s “Best of Manhattan” winners announced [PHOTOS]

The Zislis Group takes home "Best of 2013" as all-around winner.

More than 200 members of the local business community gathered at the Manhattan Country Club Tuesday evening for the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce’s inaugural “Best of Manhattan” award show. The formal night kicked off with cocktail hour and ended with an awards presentation announcing the winners of seven categories.

  • Best of 2013 Award for all-around winner: The Zislis Group
  • Full Circle Award for best charity: Skechers
  • Homegrown Mogul Award for entrepreneur of 2013: Mike Simms of the Simms Group
  • Manhattan Experience Award for best local experience, event or venue: Hometown Fair
  • Home Sweet Home Award for best in real estate: Matt Morris
  • Best of the Press Award for favorite South Bay media outlet: The Beach Reporter
  • Toast of the Coast Award for best dining: Fishbar
