OTICE INVITING BIDS
CIP No. 12-153HERMOSA BEACH FIRE DEPARTMENT
HYBRID BEACON SYSTEM INSTALLATION
Notice is hereby given that the City of Hermosa Beach will receive sealed bids at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254, until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, for CIP No. 12-153 HERMOSA BEACH FIRE DEPARTMENT HYBRID BEACON SYSTEM INSTALLATION which consists of furnishing all necessary labor, materials, tools and equipment for the complete removal of the existing emergency vehicle flashing beacon system and installation of a new emergency vehicle hybrid beacon system; including a new controller assembly, signing, and striping as per the plans and specifications.
All bids must be submitted in writing, on standard forms available in the Public Works Department, at the above address. All bids must be sealed and must be plainly marked in the lower left-hand corner “CIP No. 12-153 HERMOSA BEACH FIRE DEPARTMENT HYBRID BEACON SYSTEM INSTALLATION.”
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received and to be the sole judge of the merits of the respective bids received. The award, if made, will be granted to the lowest responsible bidder.

Plans and Specifications may be picked up at the Office of the Director of Public Works/City Engineer beginning Thursday, June19, 2014,by paying a non-refundable fee of $10.00 per set. Plans and specifications can be mailed directly to the contractor if a Federal Express or preferred carrier account number is provided. Plans and Specifications are available on disk only; there are no paper copies.
City Hall is open Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
