NOTICE INVITING PROPOSALS
Notice is hereby given that the City of Hermosa Beach will receive sealed proposals at the office of the City
Clerk, City Hall, 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254 until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud, for performing work as follows:
The City Of Hermosa Beach is soliciting sealed bids from qualified vendors for the purchase of patient cots and installation of cot retention hardware in department ambulances for securing aforementioned cots.
The City of Hermosa Beach reserves the right to extend any time frame as necessary.
Late proposals will not be accepted. Bids received after the deadline will be returned to the bidder unopened.
Bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope with the words, “BID FOR PATIENT COTS”, written or typed on the envelope. City Hall is open Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Specifications and instructions to bidders may be obtained from the City’s website at http://www.hermosabch.org/index.aspx?page=667. Questions about this notice inviting bids may be directed to Firefighter Aaron Bush or Fire Chief David Lantzer at 310-376-2479.
A business license is required to do contracted work in the City of Hermosa Beach.
The City of Hermosa Beach reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularity or informality in any bid to the extent permitted by law.
The City of Hermosa Beach reserves the right to delete any item of the bid or to increase quantities/frequencies in any bid item after awarding the agreement.

PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Hermosa Beach shall hold a public hearing on Tuesday,October21, 2014, to consider the following:
- Conditional Use Permit, Precise development Plan and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map No. 72959 for a two unit residential condominium project at 4 Meyer Court, and determination that the project is Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (Continued from the September 16, 2014 meeting).
- Conditional Use Permit, Precise development Plan and Vesting Tentative Parcel Map No. 73012 for a two unit residential condominium project at 651 10th Street, and determination that the project is Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act
- Precise Development Plan to allow a duplex containing 2,920 square feet (Unit 1) and 1,544 square feet (Unit 2) with five parking spaces accessed from the 19th Court at 18 19th Street, and determination that the project is Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
SAID PUBLIC HEARINGS shall be held at 7:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard,in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254.
ANY AND ALL PERSONS interested are invited to participate and speak at these hearings at the above time and place. For inclusion in the agenda packet to be distributed, written comments of interested parties should be submitted to the Community Development Department, Planning Division, in care of City Hall at 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254 prior to Thursday, October 16, 2014, at 12:00 noon. All written testimony by any interested party will be accepted prior to or at the scheduled time on the agenda for the matter.
IFYOU CHALLENGE the above matter(s) in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Community Development Department, Planning Division, at, or prior to, the public hearing.
