NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach shall consider a permitapplication from the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce to possibly relocate the Farmers Market from its current location on Valley Drive each Friday to a new location on Pier Plaza each Wednesday. Said item shall be considered under Municipal Matters onTuesday, Sept. 23, 2014.

SAID MEETINGshall commence at 7:00 P.M., and as soon thereafter as possible the matter may be heardin the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254.

ANY AND ALL PERSONS interested are invited to participate and speak at this meeting at the above time and place.  All written comments will be accepted prior to or at the scheduled time on the agenda for the matter. NOTICE INVITING BIDS

CIP No. 13-656CITYWIDE ENERGY CONSERVATION UPGRADE- PHASE I

Notice is hereby given that the City of Hermosa Beach will receive sealed bids at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254, until 2:00 P.M. Thursday October 2, 2014, for CIP No. 13-656 CITYWIDE ENERGY CONSERVATION UPGRADE-PHASE I which consists of upgrading the lighting systems at multiple sites, including: Building Interior, Building Exterior, City-Owned Street Lights and Park Lights.

All bids must be submitted in writing, on standard forms available in the Public Works Department, at the above address.  All bids must be sealed and must be plainly marked in the lower left-hand corner “CIP No. 13-656 CITYWIDE ENERGY CONSERVATION UPGRADE- PHASE I.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received and to be the sole judge of the merits of the respective bids received.  The award, if made, will be granted to the lowest responsible bidder.

Amendment to General Plan Land Use Map from Commercial Corridor (CC) to Medium Density Residential (MD) and amend text for consistency and review and reconsideration of Planning Commission Resolution No. 14-17 approving a Conditional Use Permit, Precise Development Plan and Vesting Tentative Tract Map No. 72717 for a seven-unit condominium at 1818, 1830 & 1834 Pacific Coast Highway, and determination that the project is Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
