NOTICE INVITING BIDS

PARKING STRUCTURE COUNTING SYSTEM

Notice is hereby given that the City of Hermosa Beach will receive sealed bids at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254, until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday April 16, 2015, for PARKING STRUCTURE COUNTING SYSTEM which consists of installing a parking counting system at the City Parking Structure located at the intersection of 13th Street and Hermosa Avenue, with all relevant in-pavement loop detectors at parking entry, two “Open/Full” signs with space availability on each directions of Hermosa Avenue, and all necessary trenching and appurtenances.

All bids must be submitted in writing, on standard forms available in the Public Works Department, at the above address.  All bids must be sealed and must be plainly marked in the lower left-hand corner “PARKING STRUCTURE COUNTING SYSTEM.”

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received and to be the sole judge of the merits of the respective bids received.  The award, if made, will be granted to the lowest responsible bidder.

1. Permit to install volleyball court(s) on sand 50’ from Strand Wall at the following locations in Hermosa Beach:

1. One (1) court west of the existing courts just north of Herondo Street
2. One (1) court west of existing courts just north of Lyndon Street
3. One (1) court west of existing courts just south of 1st Street
4. One (1) court west of existing court just south of 2nd Street
5. Two (2) courts running westward just south of 6th Street
6. Two (2) courts west of existing courts between 17th and 18th Streets
7. Two (2) courts running westward just north of 19th Street
8. One (1) court west of existing court between 19th and 20th Streets
9. Two (2) courts running westward just north of 23rd Street
