NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Redondo Beach, California, will receive sealed proposals for performing the following:

Beach Cities Transit – Transit System Signage Fabrication, Removal & Installation Invitation For Bid (IFB) # 1314-013

Proposals will be received by Purchasing of the City of Redondo Beach, 415 Diamond Street, Door C, Redondo Beach, California, until 10:00 A.M. on June 23, 2014.  Thereafter said bids will be publicly opened and read in the City Clerk’s office of said City.

A pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10 a.m., June 12, 2014 at Redondo Beach City Hall, 415 Diamond St., Redondo Beach, CA 90277.

Proposals received after specified date and time will be considered late and returned to the proposer unopened.  Each proposal shall be submitted on the forms provided in the IFB, and shall be submitted complete, including bid bond and list of subcontractors, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and other requirements of the bid document in a sealed envelope with the proposal number and the name and address of the proposer appearing on the outside of the envelope.  No proposal shall be submitted by telephone, fax, or electronic mail.  The City of Redondo Beach reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received and, to the extent permitted by law, to waive any irregularities in the proposal.  The IFB may be obtained by contacting joyce.rooney@redondo.org, from the City’s Transit Division, 1922 Artesia Blvd, Redondo Beach, CA  90278, at the City website beachcitiestransit.org, or by calling 310-318-0610 x2670.Questions may be directed to the Transit Manager, Joyce Rooney, at (310) 318-0610, extension 2670.

A RESOLUTION ADOPTING PARKING RATES FOR THE PIER PARKING STRUCTURE, PLAZA PARKING STRUCTURE, AND REDONDO BEACH MARINA PARKING LOT IN THE FOLOWING categories:

3. PIER/BOARDWALK EMPLOYEE MONTHLY AND YEARLY PASSES
4. REDONDO BEACH MARINA EMPLOYEE MONTHLY AND YEARLY PASSES

8. SEASIDE LAGOON
9. REDONDO BEACH COUNCIL MEMBERS AND CITY EMPLOYEES

FURTHER INFORMATION on the above matter may be obtained or viewed at the City Clerk’s Office, located at 415 Diamond Street, Door C, Redondo Beach, CA.  If a citizen wishes to challenge the nature of the above actions in court, they may be limited to raising only those issues they or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of at or prior to the public hearing.

All interested persons are invited to appear at this time and place specified above to give oral or written testimony in regards to this matter.  Written comments may be forwarded to City Clerk’s Office at 415 Diamond Street, Redondo Beach, CA 90277.

PROPOSED USER FEE CHANGES

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Redondo Beach, California, will conduct a public hearing regarding proposed user fee changes for the Fire, Library, Community Development, Community Services and Waterfront and Economic Development Departments.

The Hearing will be held before the City Council of the City of Redondo Beach at the Regular City Council Meeting to be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 415 Diamond Street, Redondo Beach, California, 90277.

ANY AND ALL PERSONS interested in the above are invited to attend.  For more information, please contact the Financial Services Department at (310) 372-1171.  A few days prior to the public hearing date, the proposed user fee adjustments may be found at the City of Redondo Beach website located at www.redondo.org.  All City Council meetings are broadcast live on cable, Channel 8, in Redondo Beach.
