ORDINANCE NO.3123-14
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 23.903 OF ARTICLE 9, TITLE 2, OF THE REDONDO BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE,ESTABLISHING THE SALARY AND BENEFITS OF THE CITY TREASURER
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY ORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. AMENDMENT OF CODE. Section 2-3.903, Article 9, Title 2 of the Redondo Beach Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
“2-3.903 Salary of City Treasurer: Entitlement to fringe benefits.
Effective April 1, 2015, the salary of the City Treasurer shall be, and the same is hereby determined, fixed, and established at the sum of Two Thousand Eighty Three and 33/100ths ($2,083.33) Dollars per month. The City Treasurer shall receive those fringe benefits to which the Management and Confidential Bargaining Unit may, from time to time, be entitled.
SECTION 2.INCONSISTENT PROVISIONS. Any provisions of the Redondo Beach Municipal Code, or appendices thereto, or any other ordinances of the City inconsistent herewith, to the extent of such inconsistencies and no further, are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.SEVERANCE.If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of the ordinance. The City Council hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance and every section, subsection, sentence, clause, and phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses, or phrases be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 4.PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall be published by one insertion in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall go into effect and be in full force and operation from and after thirty (30) days following its final passage and adoption.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. AMENDMENT OF CODE. Section 2-3.902, Article 9, Title 2 of the Redondo Beach Municipal Code, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 2-3.902. Salary of City Clerk: Entitlement to fringe benefits.
Effective April 1, 2015, the salary of the City Clerk shall be, and the same is hereby determined, fixed, and established at the sum of Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty One dollars and no/100ths ($9,921.00) per month and shall be increased two(2%) percent on April 1, 2016; two and one tenths (2.1%) percent on April 1, 2017; two and two tenths (2.2%) percent on April 1, 2018. The City Clerk shall receive those fringe benefits to which the Management and Confidential Bargaining Unit may, from time to time, be entitled.
