Coach ‘Feather’ honored with naming of ECC athletic field

El Camino College Trustee Bill Beverly presents Coach John “Feather” Featherstone with a copy of the plaque in his honor placed at the entrance to the college’s new athletic stadium. The plaque recounts Featherstone’s national, state and conference championships. Featherstone coached the Warriors from 1985 until 2015. 

John Featherstone and El Camino College Coach Gifford Lindheim lead the Warriors onto the field for Saturday’s homecoming game against Cerritos. Cerritos won 42 to 40.
