Spyder Snow Fest comes to Hermosa

After a four hour rain delay, the Third Annual Spyder Snow Fest is scheduled to get underway at 4 p.m. Saturday. According to reports from properlyrooted.com bloggers, Mountain High snow blowers began dumping 60 tons of snow on to a three-story high jump after the rain stopped about noon, when the snow jump had been scheduled to open.

Mountain High pro snowboarders Cory Cronk, Trever Haas and Kyle Lopiccolo will be among the pros competing for the Best Trick award. Following the pros’ exhibition kids under 15 will be allowed to sled on Mount Hermosa.
