A man wanted in Oregon for larceny was arrested when police responded to a call about a robbery at a house on 23rd Street Thursday.
Manhattan Beach Police responded around 9:50 p.m. on April 2 and found a man bleeding from a wound on his head and being helped by a neighbor. The man, Christopher James Carlile, 55, said that $500 and his cell phone were taken.
Police determined that Carlile had contacted a woman through Craigslist for a sexual encounter. The woman’s bodyguard hit him before he was robbed.
Carlile was not cooperative with police and did not want any investigation into the incident.
Officers discovered that he had a no-bail warrant for his arrest, which included extradition.
After seeking medical treatment, Carlile was arrested and transported to the custody of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. ER
