The driver accused of killing four people and injury eight others in Redondo Beach has been charged with four counts of felony vehicular manslaughter and one count of driving under the influence and causing bodily injury.

On Wednesday, Dec. 17, Margo Bronstein, 56, of Redondo Beach, ran a red light at Pacific Coast Highway and Vincent Street in Redondo Beach. Her vehicle struck 12 pedestrians in the crosswalk as they were leaving a Christmas recital at St. James Catholic Church.

Charges were filed Friday by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office.  Bronstein is currently being held at the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department jail facility with a $500,000 bail.
