Volunteers and Organizations Improving the Community’s Environments (VOICE) will host an Earth Day Celebration and Concert April 17 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m at Polliwog Park.
Musical guests will include Dave Kinnoin, Jeremy Buck and the Bang and The Police Experience.
The event will inlcude a recycling drive where residents can drop off clean and lightly worn clothes, prescription glasses, and documents in need of shredding. A water wise class will be held at the Manhattan Beach Botanical Garden at 10 a.m. Eco-friendly organizations, alternative fuel vehicles, food and prizes will also be included in this free event.
