Herwig awarded Xceed scholarship. El Segundo resident Marissa Herwig has received a $1,000 Romeo Doty Scholarship from Xceed Financial Credit Union. Herwig is studying to become a medical doctor at Montana State University. Xceed has awarded over $140,000 in Romeo Doty Scholarships, named in memory for a long-time board member who strove to make higher education available to all students.
