South swells are upon us. Hermosa is winding down from its towering El Nino monsters and is on track for lake-dom.
Although the surf this morning out front didn’t garner the word epic, there was definitely something to be excited about. My mind is already wandering down the road in Doheny, tomorrows logging adventure destination. I can already see tower 12, the coarse-grained sand, my Doheny crew, and the perfect little waves that wrap adjacent to the Harbor. South swells means south-facing beaches, and I see a lot of Dana Point, Malibu, and Newport in the near future.
