The PENINSULA RACQUET CLUB will be holding its 3rd Annual Mason Zisette Memorial Cup from December 6-9, 2018. All USTA male and female tennis players from NTRP levels 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 (singles and doubles), and 4.0 mixed doubles are welcome to compete in this prestigious event at one of the most scenic clubs in Southern California located at 30850 Hawthorne Blvd in Rancho Palos Verdes.  The tournament has grown over the last 3 years and now the total cost, including prize money, totals $25,000.  The lead sponsor is the Mason Zisette Memorial Foundation.  Funds are raised for  the Foundation through donations and large sponsorships to offer young athletes academic and sports scholarships.
All tennis fans are encouraged to participate or just to come watch current pro ATP/WTA Tour players, Next Generation College standout from USC, UCLA and other colleges and National Juniors battle it out in this exciting tennis tournament.  About 250 participants are anticipated this year.  The cost to enter the tournament is $75.75 per player for singles, or $38.13 per player for doubles. Mason Zisette was an enthusiastic Southern California junior tennis player who had a passion for family, friends and tennis. Mason played junior tennis in Southern California from 2006-2014. Mason was known for his infectious smile, his joy of life and being a friend to all. Through his foundation, his legacy to bring joy and healing to those in need is something his family and friends are honored to carry out. Working hand in hand with local hospitals and shelters, his legacy is creating impact. College scholarships have been awarded to deserving students and programs helping families and children in need are receiving funding as a direct result of Mason’s influence.

The 3rd Annual Mason Zisette Memorial Cup to be held at Peninsula Racquet Club (PRC) in Palos Verdes. This USTA sanctioned Tennis Tournament will be held December 6-9, 2018. The total money spent for the event will be $25,000 and total prize money will vary based on the size of the entries and specific draws. All division winners will be awarded prize money or sponsor prizes at the end of the event, and each participant will receive a tournament sponsor T–shirt and swag bag.

Our goal is to grow this event over the years, collectively try to impact many young kids with the hope that we can guide and create better futures for those less fortunate, while leaving behind a legacy in Mason Zisette’s honor.
