Award Winning Documentary film on Asian Immigrants

On Saturday, May 25th, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, watch an award winning documentary film that tells the stories of four women of Asian descent who lived in America from the 1850s to present day.  Each woman’s story represents a distinct theme of struggle and triumph.

The film received an Emmy Award in 2017, a Certificate of Congressional Recognition, A Golden Award from The World Film Festival and the Best Feature Documentary Award from the LA Film Festival of Hollywood. 

This program is free and open to the public.  After the film there will be time for Q&A.

The program will be held in the 2nd floor Meeting Room at Redondo Beach Main Library, located at 303 N.
