My twin brother Captain Sean Brock United States Marine Corps, was killed in Iraq in 2005 by enemy fire. To honor my brothers legacy I and a few close friends decided to form a non-profit foundation that would provide educational assistance to family members of service members who lost their lives or were wounded in combat in order for them to pursue their educational endeavors.
Every year we host a run event to raise funds for the foundation. This year we will be hosting our seventh annual Kids dash, 5k run walk event at Dockweiler State Beach CA. This event is open to everyone of all ages. This year’s event will be co- hosted with CalCPA ( California Public Accountants Association Los Angeles Chapter. CalCPA also awards scholarships to local college or university students studying accounting.
