The Redondo Beach location of Flair Cleaners participates in the seventh annual “Flair Cares Food Drive” March 1-31, to benefit Food Pantry LAX, Salvation Army Santa Monica, North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry and the nonprofit Santa Clarita Grocery. Flair, a Studio-City based eco-friendly dry cleaner, will match donations of up to 250 pounds of food dropped off at any of their locations.
“Our challenging social and economic times have put a strain on households and families throughout LA County,” said Gary Futterman, Flair Cleaners owner. “We are proud to continue our efforts – with the generosity of our customers – to collect and donate critically needed food to local nonprofits. We hope our efforts make a difference in our communities.”
Canned, unopened or boxed food may be brought to the Redondo Beach location at 1900 Artesia Boulevard. Each person who donates receives a 50 percent off coupon for dry cleaning on a future visit.
