The Beach Volleyball Hall of Fame has found a home and a kick-off party will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, November 18 in the Hermosa Beach Community Center, the site of the new exhibit.
The California Beach Volleyball Association (CBVA) founded the Hall of Fame back in 1992 but until recently lacked funding and a location. The party will include a nostalgic photo display, a beach volleyball highlight video as well as honor a handful of inductees. Jim Arico will emcee the evening.
All Hall of Fame inductees are invited to attend. Photos, videos and other items are wanted for the exhibit. Donation is $10 for adults, $5 for children. Tickets available at Spyder Surf. For more information, contact Kevin Cleary, kpcleary@yahoo.com
