West Basin Municipal Water District presented a $1,750 check to Hermosa Beachβs Friends of the Library on January 16. The funds recognize the non-profit's volunteer efforts to distribute 175 water barrels throughout the community, promoting the collection and conservation of rainwater. Friends of the Library works throughout Hermosa Beach and nationally to advance literacy, education, and culture.
