Great White Surge: A “Sharky” Spring in the South Bay
The waters of California’s South Bay have seen a significant spike in Great White Shark activity in early 2026, with experts predicting an exceptionally “sharky summer”. Unseasonably warm water temperatures and a strong El Niño cycle have drawn juvenile sharks to popular shorelines months earlier than their typical April arrival.
