This darling shop, inside a 1911 craftsman bungalow with an adjoining café, invites visitors to stroll the wooden floors and admire an eclectic style that is chic yet laid back, with jewelry, scarves and accessories from designers such as Chan Luu, Catherine Weitzman, Wendy Mink and Dogeared. Cozy sections include a “living room” with an eco-friendly couch, Thomas Paul pillows, Moroccan leather poofs, a fallen-branch coat rack and Dash & Albert rugs. The dining room features pure cotton napkins wrapped with silver sand dollar rings, Jonathan Adler salt and pepper shakers, and etched glassware. A “bathroom” offers special soaps, candles, pajamas and stationery, and a baby room has little wooden cars from France’s Vilac, board books and Blabla knit dolls. If all the shopping makes you hungry, pop over to the Gumtree Cafe next door for excellent sandwiches and breakfast items.
