Fire relief get togethers

Businesses in Hermosa Beach are raising money to donate to victims of California wildfires.

More than a dozen businesses in the city are dedicating a percentage of their sales to victims of the Woolsey Fire in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. The effort, organized by the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, will include a “Raffle and Reveal” that will take place at Waterman’s on Pier Plaza Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. Then on Saturday, 3rd Street Tattoo will have an art show, live music, and raffle to raise money for wildfire victims in the state. The event, at 331 Pacific Coast Highway, runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m
