Taste of the Beach
Doug Howarth of Silvio’s Brazilian BBQ is among the dozens of chefs who will be serving guests at the Hermosa Kiwanis Club’s annual Taste at the Beach at the Hermosa Beach Community Center on Saturday, August 24. History of Aviation
The Hermosa Beach Historical Society will host a lecture next week on the key role the South Bay played in the history of flight. Speaker Lynn Jenson is a retired aerospace engineer and former curator of the Western Museum of Flight. The event takes place Aug. 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Hermosa Museum
