Pancake breakfast Sunday
The annual Woman’s Club of Hermosa Beach Pancake Breakfast will take place this Sunday morning. The event, now in its 28th year, features a silent auction, activities for kids, and coming close to election day, is usually a prime handshake opportunity for Hermosa’s City Council candidates. Breakfast, including pancakes, sausage, juice, and coffee, is $10, with kids under 5 admitted free. The event, which runs from 8 a.m. to noon, will be held in the Kiwanis Club instead of its usual location at the city’s Clark Building, whose kitchen is currently undergoing repairs.
