Budget Open House
The City of Manhattan Beach is hosting a Budget Priorities Open House on Jan. 28 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Joslyn Community Center (1601 N. Valley Dr.). The event will provide an interactive look at the City’s financial resources, budget outlook for 2020-2021, and provide an overview for every department’s operations and programs. Residents are invited to take an online budget priorities survey and/or RSVP for the open house at CityMB.info.Â
New villagersÂ
Manhattan Village last week announced six new tenants. The new arrivals will include: Sweetgreen, a restaurant featuring seasonal, healthy food, will open in the winter of 2020; Vans, the iconic skateboarding apparel store, opens in summer 2020; Cyclebar, a cycling studio, opens summer 2020; Coreology Fitness, a fitness center, opens summer 2020; Corepower Yoga, a yoga studio, will open in the fall of 2020; and Sidecar Doughnuts, a doughnut, and coffee shop, will open in fall 2020.
